Residential Colleges available for Mobility Students to stay during exchange programme.

Application

Due to ongoing renovation projects at all residential colleges, the on-campus accommodations are unfortunately unavailable for the Fall 2026 semester. Should you require assistance in getting resources to find housing, please take a look at the 'Off Campus Private Housing' section below or send an email to studyabroad@um.edu.my

UM 10th Residential College (KK10) - NOT AVAILABLE FOR FALL 2026 SEMESTER

This residential college is applicable for female mobility students only.
Each student will have their own personal bed, desk and locker in their rooms.
The fee is MYR 15 per day.
Students will be staying in a twin-sharing room.
There is no air-conditioning.
Other facilities such as washroom and toilet, pantry, study area and cafeteria are communal/shared spaces.

UM 11th Residential College (KK11) - NOT AVAILABLE FOR FALL 2026 SEMESTER

~~This residential college is applicable for male mobility students only.~~
~~Each student will have their own personal bed, desk and locker in their rooms.~~
~~The fee is MYR 23 per day.~~
~~Students will be staying in a twin-sharing room.~~
~~There is air-conditioning.~~
~~Other facilities such as washroom and toilet, pantry, study area and cafeteria are communal/shared spaces.~~

UM 12th Residential College (KK12) - NOT AVAILABLE FOR FALL 2026 SEMESTER

This residential college is applicable all mobility students.
Each student will have their own personal bed, desk and locker in their rooms.
The fee is MYR 15 per day.
Students will be staying in a twin-sharing room.
There is no air-conditioning.
Other facilities such as washroom and toilet, pantry, study area and cafeteria are communal/shared spaces.

UM International House (IH) - NOT AVAILABLE FOR FALL 2026 SEMESTER

This residential college is applicable all mobility students.
Each student will have their own personal bed, desk and locker in their rooms.
MYR 450 per month, excluding utilities
Students will stay in twin sharing rooms, and there are 2 rooms in one house unit
Air-conditioning is available.
Shared facilities within the apartment, such as living room, fridge, kitchen.

Price Range:
Approximately MYR 800.00 - 2,000.00 per month/pax. However, the actual price varies depending on the area, venue and the type of room/premises that you are renting.

NOTES:

1. students are required to make their own reservation with the private premise owner.

2. You can search for more information about Private-Owned Accommodation around UM or look for housing agent

3. Discuss with the premise owner or agent for further arrangement on date of check in, rental and utility deposit, rental rate, etc.

4. Finalized the Tenant Agreement for the booking.
