The Global Mobility Centre (GMC) welcomes motivated and committed students seeking internship placements.
How to Apply
- Send an email to director_mobility@um.edu.my with the subject line:
"Application for Internship at GMC: [Your Full Name]”
- Include the following in your application:
✅ Cover Letter
✅ Curriculum Vitae (CV)
✅ Letter of Confirmation from your university (confirming eligibility for internship / industrial training)
✅ Duration of the proposed internship
Internship periods are flexible and open throughout the year.
ℹ️ Please note that:
- Internships at GMC are primarily suited for students with backgrounds in administration, international relations, communication, management, education, design or related fields. Our office does not offer laboratory- or research-based internship placements.
- Interns will gain exposure to areas such as student mobility administration, programme coordination, data management, and international engagement activities.
- Students who are interested in internships at Universiti Malaya outside of the Global Mobility Centre may contact the Centre for Integral Learning (CITRA) at citra@um.edu.my for further information.
